  23. You can type commands directly to your modem from within HyperTerminal
  24. by first opening an existing *.ht session first.  Then type the
  25. commands directly on the comm screen.  You can also configure the port
  26. to Direct to ComX.  The latest HyperTerminal Private Edition allows
  27. you type modem commands from within the New Connection which saves
  28. users the step of opening an *.ht session.
